Fairytale characters are usually stereotypes who represent clear values,usually good and evil
Relationships among fairytale characters:

What are the typical roles of the following character types-what kind of values do they represent and what usually happens to each character:
a) hero: the hero is always the good guy with a perfect personality and usually pretty or handsome. There values are that they are kind hearted, smart, witty, brave, selfless and fair. They are also usually males who are most likely princes who save the girl and then marries her and always wins in the end.
b) princess: the princess is the beautiful, kind hearted and smart maiden who faces a complication and needs help. The typical role is that the princess will become in distress and the prince has to save her. In the end the hero will save her and they will get married and live happily ever after
c) witch: the witch is typically the bad guy who wants to make problems for the hero and is usually a female. The witch is usually selfish and rude with no redeeming qualities. In the end the witch's plans are thwarted and the bad guy loses.
d)ogre: the ogre is known as the scary monster who eats people and is generally evil. They are usually quite dumb, hot tempered and mean spirited. They are usually known as one of the problems the hero has to defeat and they usually end up dying.
e)dragon: the dragon is typically evil and works for the bad guy to protect or guard something or someone. There values are that they are hot tempered, evil and mean. They usually end up, like the ogre, being killed by the hero.
f)king and queen: the king and queen are usually only small parts of any fairytales and not mentioned very often. Their values are their courage, determination and kindness. In the end they live happily ever after safe in their castle as they were before the complication.
